December 16th @ 7pm & December 17th, 2011 at 12pm and 4:30pm.
Our talented young dancers come from many parts of Westchester County & the Bronx to perform with our professional dancers.  We encourage a professional atmosphere and our goal is to give young dancers an opportunity to perform outside of the recital setting as well as offer a behind-the-scenes look into the world of professional dance. All of our dancers come through this experience with a spark that inspires them to reach a little higher in their classes throughout the year and inspired for the coming season.

MCD is proud to have a wonderful cast of professionals. Dancers from MCD have gone on to perform with: The Dance Theatre of Harlem, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Classical Contemporary Dance Theatre, Cortez & Company, Kyle Abraham/Abraham in Motion, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Pedro Ruiz, Saba Dance Theater, Earl Mosley, Reidel Dance Theater, Ballets with a Twist, Lydia Johnson Dance, Ballet for Young Audiences, Ballet Ambassadors & Armitage Gone!  We have a had the privilege of hosting professional artists who have danced in companies, large and small, all over the world such as: American Ballet Theater, Albany Berkshire Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, Ballet Met, Greensboro Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, Shanghai Ballet, The Martha Graham Company, Wylliams/Henry Danse Theatre & Ailey II. They join us having danced with wonderful choreographers in venues ranging from Broadway to University Campuses. The richness of their experiences continue to enrich our production. Our students have gone on to: NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Wake Forest University, Salve Regina University, SUNY Binghamton & SUNY Purchase and continue to join us beyond graduation.

Nutcracker Performances take place annually at the Riverside Theatre located at the prestigious Riverside Church in New York City.
